The Supow Studio team

Stefan started his career as an engineer in 1997 after finishing the SAE College in Frankfurt, Germany, from where he moved to the US and worked in several studios like Bristol Studios in Boston, Music Room in Cambridge, Sterling Sound and Dangerous Music in New York City. Some of the artists he worked with included bands like Toots & Maytals, SuperHyperMost, Karyshma and Roy Campbell Band.

Stefan also started recording the annual Vision Festival - the biggest Avangard Jazz Festival in NYC recording William Parker, David S Ware, Charles Gayle, Fred Anderson and many more.

After his move to Germany he re-opened FisheyeMusic Studio in Cologne a Mastering and Mix Studio and built Supow Studio. Back in Germany Stefan concentrated on Mastering and Surround Mixing.

Ricky started as an intern at interface recording studios, Cologne and then moved to Hambourg where he was PT-Op / assistant at Matthias Arfmann's "Turtle bay country club" and worked with artists such as Patrice and Yello.

The latter then took him back to Cologne, where they recorded the 'Nile' album during 2 years in the Dierks studios. That was 2006 when they bought the Neve Console and started looking for their own place.
His first project in Supow was the edit and mix of Patrice's "Raw and Uncut" album/DVD. A nice goodbye project for both of them, after almost 10 years on the road together.

Since then, Ricky has been doing Mix, Recording or Live shows for artists like Nneka, Ayo, Max Herre, Clueso, Samy Deluxe, Gentleman, Chima...

Manu joined Supow studio in March 2009. Former assistant, he then did several recording and mixing jobs as an engineer. Still working on his SAE Audio Engineering BA in Cologne, he also works at Orange Sky Studio, Audiocation.de and used to spend time at HOFA-Studios and Kangaroo Studios.

Manu was assisting Russ Elevado during recording and mixdown for artists such as Patrice, Angelique Kidjo, IET, Mike Anderson or Selah Sue.

Torsten started at Supow in March 2009 as an assistant beside his studies at SAE, in Cologne. He was assisting Russel Elevado during Patrice's 'One' album recording and mixing and also did some recording with Ricky Lawson and Alex Ligertwood. Moreover, he works for drumrecording / drums&percussion Paderborn as well as Dangerous music and Masteringworks.
